Please don't misquote me.
I actually said this:
" I think he was kind of forced to 'come out' by being discovered? It seems like the gay issue is being used to cover the worse details of the scandal. " Isn't that pretty much what you said too?... I'm not looking for an argument, at all, I heartily agree that his gayness or straightness has nothing to do with the real story.

Since I live in the US, I don't expect to be told the full story on anything... at least not by the 'News Outlets' , I expect them to be full of whatever propaganda their corporate interests need.

I'm not proud of being ignorant, and I don't like it, but I won't stop being ignorant just by watching mainstream 'news' on tv.

GLENN I agree that the media could be improved, not only in the USA but also in my country Australia. They need a code of ethics which should be enforced revision spelling

Personally, I believe that the media is way to bias. They are ultra-Liberal and show no signs of improvement. If I had it my way, Though I believe in freedom of speech, outlaw media bias. Any media, A)can not support any candidates or B) If they support one, they must support all others equally. Then you'll see 3rd parties rise past Ross Perot's stature.

But to be honest, I don't trust the media..because I dont trust either ultra-platforms. But my point is we need a law that prevents media bias

It was admitted over CNN that the postal anthrax that circulated freely a couple of years ago was sent by the CDC, as an experiment. But, the report quickly added, they had no firm I.D. for the person or persons who did it and they doubted criminal charges would ever be filed as the governmet has the right to conduct psychological experiments on the general public duing times of war.
I heard this report on the radio, only once and it was very brief. It does however prove that Bush and his bunch have no ethics whatsoever and that they are willing to kill their fellow Americans as quickly as they are anyone else.

As a politician I've dealt with the media for over two decades now and I can honestly say, the truth is NOT in them.

When the news giants talk about freedom of speech, they mean THEIR FREEDOM to lie, and trick, to libel and slander whoever they target, not your right to freely express your views, especially if your views challenge the accepted norm.

There is no two sided media. There is no such thing as an "anti-gay" media or anything on the oppisite side of Liberalism. Media only reflects the positives of the Liberal stance neglecting all others.

Well said. The electronic media (TV), is a cultural wasteland that had dumbed the American people down to a point where they're little better than zombies. At the other end of the spectrum, you've got supermarket "trash" tabloids like "The Weekly World News" spreading idiotic rubbish for moron consumption. With such a press and public it's no wonder the crooked shell game continues year after year, decade after decade non-stop.

This discussion will not get far . We need to concentrate on details., such as a particular newpaper,tv station or magazine, etc. Do not forget that the owners of an outlet are aware that if they push their bias too far ,they will lose readers or viewers and they will lose money..

It has to do with "thought control" more, even than money. The system realized long ago that people aren't much different than computers, so you can program them to think whatever you want. Blow-up a few tall buildings, as the Bush regime did with the WTC & Co. in 2001, then you can start a Joe Goebbels style patriotism and go kick some Arab asses, so that your henchmen can rob oil-rich Iraq.
